This program runs with the display off in the background and checks your Gmail POP email box at selected time interval and alerts you via the battery charge/notification LED when you have new email(s) on your server. When the timer reaches '0:00:00' or you tap the button the program will log into your Gmail POP server (via a secure SSL connection) and check for new POP emails. When you have a new email the program will display a silent alert as the flashing LED. NOTE: This program does not download or view the emails. NOTE: The program also disables suspend mode.
